Redesigning the largest payment gateway of Pakistan

PayFast, one of Pakistan’s leading payment gateways, required a strategic redesign of its checkout experience and mobile wallet to enhance user trust, ease of use, and overall conversion rates.

Our Role

The goal was to create a seamless payment journey that aligned with global best practices while addressing local market needs and regulatory requirements.

We redesigned the checkout experience, established a design system and conducted post-development quality assurance (QA) to ensure the seamless experience designed is delivered..

Additionally, a brand expansion activity was undertaken to reinforce PayFast’s position as a reliable and established entity in Pakistan’s fintech ecosystem.

A brand refresh was also undertaken to elevate PayFast’s market positioning. The updated brand identity focused on creating a visually consistent experience across the website and checkout process while also fostering an emotional connection with users through a tone and style that resonated with both merchants and consumers. This cohesive approach reinforced PayFast’s reliability and trustworthiness in the digital payment landscape.
